This presentation will discuss the rela tionship between Medicare, Medicaid and private payer policy regarding CPT codes, reimbursement rates and telehealth. Medicare policy impacts not only Medicare but also state Medicaid programs and private payers. Despite this fact, many psychologists are not aware of this relationship and do not act ively engage inn advocacy efforts for CMS/Medicare efforts. This directly i mpacts our state association's ability to influence payment policy across a ll payers at the state and federal level.
